Eilis Spence
Operations Manager (VIC)

What do you do at ANC?

I am the Operations Manager in Victoria. My role involves managing our brilliant team of Allocators and Allocator Assistants, resolving any issues as they arrive, liaising with the Account Management team, communicating with clients. In addition to this I work with new clients during the onboarding, implementation and trial phases to ensure we can deliver to their operational expectations and help guarantee a smooth transition over to ANC.

Transport career experience?

I have been with ANC since 2018, starting off as an Allocator for our valued client Bunnings. During COVID the increase in volume and our ability to scale up was incredible. I then moved into the role of Operations Supervisor where I continued to allocate but also took on the additional tasks of managing rosters. Before joining ANC, I was a Tow Truck Allocator for two years at Nationwide Towing and Transport.

Favourite part of your job?

I like that in transport no two days are ever the same. My role requires me to be quick thinking with the  ability to positively problem solve when the need arises.

How would you describe ANC if it was a person?

ANC would be an emotionally intelligent person – caring, considerate and fierce when needed.

What do you like to do when you are not working?

My passion is horse riding. I own a horse named ‘Whiskey’ who is back home in Perth and I hope one day soon to bring him over to Melbourne and to be able to make more time for riding.

How do you help ANC deliver extraordinary experiences?

By being committed to my role and ensuring I am giving my all every day.
